Jenni Rivera's Estate Suing Airplane Company

Jenni Rivera was tragically killed in a plane crash two years ago this week. Now, her estate has filed suit against the owners of the Learjet plane that was carrying Rivera and her entourage. The plane crashed in 2012.
Rivera was 43 when she died in a private plane that went down over Mexico on December 9, 2012. The pilots died, as well.
The families of Rivera's publicist Arturo Rivera, of make-up artist Jacobo Yebale, of hairstylist Jorge Armando Sanchez Vasquez and of attorney Mario Macias Pacheco sued both the plane owners at Starwood Management as well as Jenni Rivera Enterprises, which booked the plane. They sued for negligence. The singer's estranged husband, former Los Angeles Dodgers baseball star Esteban Loaiza, also filed a wrongful death case against Starwood.
It's been an icky legal mess for a while now and will continue to carry on, as reps for Rivera's parents and five of her children launched a suit against Starwood Management, seeking unspecified damages.
What say you about this mess?
