Jennifer Aniston has responded to political pundit Bill O'Reilly, who criticized her recent comments about single motherhood while promoting her new rom com, The Switch, which was actually once called The Baster, about a woman who gets preggers from a sperm donor who turns out to be not-so-anonymous. O'Reilly accused Aniston of being a threat to the concept of the nuclear family and of encouraging single motherhood and glamorizing the concept with her statement about motherhood in the modern era.
"Of course, the ideal scenario for parenting is obviously two parents of a mature age. Parenting is one of the hardest jobs on earth," Aniston told People in response to the political pundit's rants. "And, of course, many women dream of finding Prince Charming (with fatherly instincts), but for those who've not yet found their Bill O'Reilly, I'm just glad science has provided a few other options." What a brilliant comment from Aniston. I don't just like her hair; I like her rebuttal!
"Women are realizing it more and more, knowing that they don't have to settle with a man just to have that child," the actress told reporters. "Love is love and family is what is around you and who is in your immediate sphere." That is what set old Bill off in the first place.
Team Aniston or Team O'Reilly?
