    Singer Jennifer Hudson, who won an Oscar for her work in Dreamgirls, is headed to the small screen. The singer will join NBC's Smash for its second season, which debuts this fall. The Los Angeles Times reports that the diva will play Veronica Moore, a Tony-winning stage actress who gets all entangled with the Bombshell players.

    It's almost like art imitating life, right? Since Hudson starred in a film based on a musical!
