Jenny Lewis Announces New Album
Having recently wrapped up a Rilo Kiley tour, singer Jenny Lewis has already shifted back into solo mode, announcing a new album and tour. The former is called Acid Tongue and it's due out through Warner Bros. in September. The star-studded effort features the following guest appearances: Elvis Costello, Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes, Jonathan Rice, M. Ward, Zooey Deschanel, "Farmer Dave" Scher of Beachwood Sparks, Paz Lenchantin of A Perfect Circle, and a handful of others. Lewis' sister, Leslie, and father, Eddie Gordon, even tracked backup vocals and harmonica lines, respectively.A Jenny Lewis tour is set to start on September 16 in Boulder, CO, with one final date happening at the Apollo in New York on October 4.
