The MIA-as-of-late pop singer Jesse McCartney will host the first Annual ALIVE Awards: an awards show with a cause! Recognizing celebrities for what they do, yet honoring them for who they are and their place as role models in the world. This awards show honors empowering nominees ranging from Alicia Keys, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jessica Alba & Will Smith.
The unprecedented event will take place from June 29 to the 30 in Times Square, New York City with the purpose of awarding major celebrities and inspirational leaders for their courageous and profound work in the health, environmental and charitable realm. ALIVE New York and its supporters will raise awareness for serious health and social issues while supporting life-saving programs and organizations.
ALIVE New York is a unique charity fundraiser for the people by the people. The event kicks off with a two-day conference full of internationally recognized speakers and experts, leading into a prominent red carpet event featuring the most health conscious and charitable celebrities, international media, and live performances by chart-topping artists. Among those recognized, Deepak Chopra is being honored with the "Wisdom Award" for his numerous contributions to humanity.
ALIVE Foundation will help establish the first all-natural immune clinic within the United States, complete with a sophisticated children's ward, horseback riding, a fully-equipped research center, and acres of greenhouse and open sky gardening dedicated to growing organic produce.
Ticket proceeds will be allocated towards this campus as well as to over 15 different celebrities' charities dedicated to improving the lives of those less fortunate in the world. Both Global Livestream and physical tickets can be purchased on the ALIVE website, and are tax deductible. You can also donate to the ALIVE foundation to further the mission of hope and health across the world.

Are you a fan of Jesse McCartney and his 2008 hit "Leavin'?" He's been MIA as of late, in the pop scene, since he has been doing films and therefore pushing music to the backburbner. But we love seeing him surface at a good cause and interesting event such as this.
