Jim Morrison Might Receive Posthumous Pardon

A 41-year-old indecent exposure charge might be expunged from the late Jim Morrison's record!
Outgoing Florida Governor Charlie Crist has two more months in office before he leaves and one of his final acts could be to pardon the late Doors singer's indecent exposure charge. Morrison was convicted of exposure and profanity after a 1969 concert in Miami when he allegedly exposed himself. Morrison passed away in 1971 while a court battle was still in place to try and overturn the charges.
Crist told thehill.com that there is "some doubt about how solid the case was" against Morrison and that he is considering looking into it more for a possible pardon. The gov has till January to overturn the charges.
Should the governor remove the charges from Morrison's record posthumously? Does it matter? Doesn't the charge make Morrison's mythos and mystique that much cooler?
