    Joe Jackson will perform songs in honor of Duke Ellington as well as his own hits in a live television event exclusively on AXS TV. As he kicks off his world tour this fall, Jackson's "Joe Jackson & The Bigger Band Live From the Count Basie Theatre, Featuring Special Guest Regina Carter" will broadcast LIVE from the historic Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, New Jersey, on Tuesday, September 25.

    Oh, we love when Jersey hosts an event like this, especially in what was once film auteur Kevin Smith's back yard.

    Jackson recently released The Duke, his salute to Duke Ellington, demonstrating the timeless brilliance of his compositions while showcasing Jackson’s skills as arranger, instrumentalist and singer.

    You can see him perform those renditions with this broadcast.

    Again, the broadcast is set for Tuesday, September 25 at 5PM PT / 8PM ET.
