Love vino and good music? Well, the two collide at Wine Spectator's New York Wine Experience, the only event where you can sample outstanding vintages and rare wines from more than 250 great wineries/châteaus with the estate owners and winemakers as your guide, which returns to NYC this October 24 through October 26.
It's primo event, but if you've got the cash, do it up and for many reasons, all of which we list below.
This year, singer-songwriter John Legend brings his talent, charisma and unique sound to the Grand Award Banquet. The Lege will be on-stage with his band and back-up singers to perform the best-known songs from his acclaimed career, including his latest hit, "Tonight (Best You've Ever Had)."
We love a good varietal and John Legend, so if you do, too, then go!
Also on this year's enticing lineup? Seminars by world-renowned vintners and star chefs like José Andrés and Emeril Lagasse. The New York Wine Experience is sponsored by the Wine Spectator Scholarship Foundation, which provides grants and scholarships to a wide variety of wine-related and culinary programs. Full details can be found below.
The event takes place at the New York Marriott Marquis, 46th & Broadway, New York City, Thursday-Saturday, October 24-26, 2013, Registration is limited. Go here for more info.
