John Lennon's Assassin Denied Parole...Again

CNN reports that Mark David Chapman, the disturbed man who assassinated John Lennon almost 30 years ago, has been denied parole for the sixth time. Chapman was sentenced to 20 years to life and is serving his sentence at New York's Attica Correctional Facility after pleading guilty to shooting Lennon in December 1980.
Lennon's widow Yoko Ono has been a vocal opponent of Chapman's release; she has stated that she would fear for her safety and the safety of Lennon's two sons, Julian and Sean, if Chapman were freed. That fear is squashed...for now.
Should Mark David Chapman remain imprisoned for the rest of his life for killing John Lennon?
