John Lennon's molar has been successfully auctioned for $31,000 to a dentist of all people. So it's being used for medical purposes, maybe? We hope! A Canadian dentist reportedly nabbed the tooth at nearly twice the price it was estimated to pull in. The auctioneers thought it would pull in only $16,000.
Remember, Lennon had given the tooth to his former housekeeper as a gift in the 1960s. We know, weird gift.
What should the dentist who won the tooth do with it? Extract some of Lennons' DNA? Use it for research? Make a necklace out of it? Save it for posterity?
