Two teen teenage sons of rocker John Mellencamp –the midwest's Bruce Springsteen-- have been charged with felony battery amid allegations they beat up another man in Bloomington, Indiana.
Speck and Hud, a trained boxer, got into a fight with the victim, 19, in late July.
Police claim the brothers and their friend Ty Smith kicked and punched the victim until his roommates heard the attack and sought help. He received treatment and stitches.
No arrests were made and no charges were filed initially. Until now.
The felony battery charges were filed earlier this week.
Both Mellencamps are facing a count of battery resulting in serious bodily injury. Smith is also charged with felony battery.
Earlier this summer, Papa Mellencamp sported a black eye on late night TV and confirmed that one of his sons got a punch in and he didn't.
Sounds like there are some anger issues in the Mellencamp family.
