Joni Mitchell Didn't Want Taylor Swift to Play Her in a Film

Music legend Joni Mitchell says she stopped plans for Taylor Swift to play her in a biopic based on Sheila Weller's book Girls Like Us. The book traces the story of a trifecta of singer/songwriters – Mitchell, Carly Simon and Carole King.
Mitchell, Simon and King are all songwriting icons, but honestly, at this point, so is Swift. She is seriously earning her keep, her place and her respect. So she would have been a fine choice to play any of those songwritin' ladies.
However, the project failed to take flight and Mitchell claims she is the reason why.
In a chat with The Sunday Times, Mitchell was asked about the plan to have Swift play her in a biopic, to which she replied, "I squelched that! I said to the producer, 'All you've got is a girl with high cheekbones. It's just a lot of gossip, you don't have the great scenes.' There's a lot of nonsense about me in books: assumptions, assumptions, assumptions."
Sounds like Mitchell did not approve of Swift or the script, really. Doesn't sound like a personal issue with T. Swizzle.
Would you want to see T. Swizzle play J. Mitchell? If not, then who?
