According to Technorati, the leader of the free world, President Obama, ranked as the most influential person in 2010 on Twitter. Who followed Barry O. in the rankings? None other than well-coiffed teen sensation Justin Bieber. The news of the Twitter influence rankings was provided via Klout, a San Francisco company that measures social media influence.
Who came after The Bieb? Well, it was another politico - Sarah Palin. She was followed by conservative pundit Glenn Beck. Behind Beck was former President George W. Bush. Wow there are a lot of right wingers wielding influence in the social media stratosphere. Apple's Steve Jobs, basketball player LeBron James and Lady Gaga were also in the Top 10, which is measured by the amount of Twitter buzz that surrounds each Tweeter/personality.
Do you follow any of these folks on Twitter? How much influence do they exert upon you?
