Justin Bieber's "Never Say Never" May Get Director's Cut Release

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount is considering releasing a special director's cut of Justin Bieber: Never Say Never while the film is still in theaters. The 3D event was released last weekend and narily missed debuting in the #1 slot by a couple hundred grand, which is practically a tie in the film world. The film also exceeded studio expectations, which is always a good thing, especially considering the promotion that went into this film and the fact that the 15-year-old girls love The Bieb.
Releasing a director's cut would give Bieber's largely and incredibly rabid female fan base a reason to go see the movie again. Releasing a director's cut poses risks, but director Jon M. Chu has been working on the new version, which is not yet complete. Paramount hopes to make a decision by next week regarding a director's cut, meaning fans and filmgoers would be able to see the new version during the film's third weekend of release. Some sources report that it's already happening; others say it isn't confirmed. We'll just to have to hurry up and wait.
Would you go see the director's cut of Never Say Never? Or is once enough?
