Kanye West complained last October that his label Def Jam had banned the graphic album cover to My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy but the real architect of the ban was West himself and he was really just "complaining." The New Yorker reports that artist George Condo, who designed the artwork, West had come to him, requesting an image "that will be banned." A banned cover certainly generates press and consumer interest, so West was designing a publicity stunt.

What do you think of West and his artwork publicity stunt?
