Katy Perry's Duet With Elmo Won't Be Aired on "Sesame Street"

Katy Perry's duet with Elmo on Sesame Street, which she deemed the highlight of her young career, will not be broadcast on air. Apparently, Perry didn't cover up her assets enough. The segment has been yanked after a clip of the duet was besieged by negative feedback on YouTube. Apparently, viewers felt Perry was baring way too much cleavage while singing "Hot N Cold" for their liking.
In the video, Perry is ready to play with Elmo, but he isn't exactly up for the fun. Perry then breaks out into a kid's version of "Hot N Cold." Producers apparently felt the segment was too provocative for the children's show. Perry's chest is reportedly covered in mesh, yet a lot of flesh is visible as the material is see-through. Perry is known for her whacky ensembles, but how sad is it that her appearance was pulled based on a fashion choice?
Personally, I love Sesame Street but they did book a pop star with a song called "I Kissed a Girl." Perhaps they should have considered Perry's ensembles and cute but edgy nature when they booked her?
Do you think the Perry segment should air regardless? Is she showing too much boobage from your vantage point? Should Lady Gaga guest on Sesame Street?
