That Katy! First she teamed up with Snoop Dogg. Now she's in cahoots with Kanye West. Katy Perry is free with her musical love! The superstar will release the new single, "E.T.," to radio this week. The track, as well as its accompanying video, feature West. The video was directed by Floria Sigismondi, who has directed clips for David Bowie, Björk, and Marilyn Manson, among others. Check out the photo of Katy and Kanye above. They'd be a cute couple if it weren't for Russell Brand and all. I am kidding, so chillax.
"E.T." is the fourth single off Katy's Grammy-nominated No. 1 album Teenage Dream. The album's previous three singles, "California Gurls," "Teenage Dream," and "Firework," all peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, making Katy the first female artist in 11 years to score three No. 1 singles from one album. It's official: Katy Perry is a hit machine.
In other news, Katy has been nominated for two 2011 Kids' Choice Awards, for "Favorite Female Singer" and "Favorite Song" for "California Gurls."
Perry will also be hitting the road in support of Teenage Dream soon, as well.
What is your favorite song on Perry's Teenage Dream?
