Katy Perry is the latest pop star to pitch in and aid the victims of the Japan earthquake and tsunami by selling some of her tour merchandise and giving the proceeds to the Red Cross. On Tuesday of this week, while on tour in Germany, Perry requested that fans buy merch at her show to benefit relief efforts. "If u go by the merchandise stand, purchase a KP light-up wand. All proceeds will go 2 to #Japanredcross," she tweeted. "And when I play 'Firework,' let's ignite the light for them tonight. I will be doing this for future shows so be ready!"
