Global superstar Ke$ha believes in the power of volunteer service and wants to motivate her fans to do something good for her hometown of Nashville this summer. Really? That's awesome of her – since we usually think of her as an acid-tongued, sassy and glittery pop princess! We like seeing her do good!
In order to motivate her fans to help the community she, along with Live Nation, has pledged to give away a concert ticket for her July 31st show at Nashville's Municipal Auditorium to volunteers who register at www.hon.org and complete a volunteer service project listed on Hands On Nashville's Project Calendar.
"When I was growing up in Nashville I always had to sneak into shows, but I want to give you an opportunity to come for free. All you have to do is just help out our hometown. Sign up right now so we can party and I can't wait to see you guys on the 31st of July!" said Ke$ha.
"Hands On Nashville is so fortunate to partner with Ke$ha to promote volunteerism in her hometown of Nashville. We are so grateful for her contributions to our agency in the wake of the May 2010 flood, and we're honored that she's redoubled her commitment to HON by rewarding a lucky group of volunteers with complimentary concert tickets," states Lisa Davis Purcell, Director of External Affairs.
Volunteers must complete service between now and July 24th, 2011 and there are a limited # of tickets available so register immediately. Only one ticket is provided to each volunteer. If you are a family or group, please note that every person must register and complete service to be eligible. This program is open to all volunteers ages 10 and older.
Ke$ha, who is on the summer leg of her "Get $leazy" worldwide tour is touring in support of her recent release of her remix album I Am the Dance Commander + I Command You to Dance.
Are you a Nashville resident who is going to volunteer in exchange for free tickets to a Ke$ha show?
