    Ke$ha kicked off her tour with Rihanna this past weekend, but the singer told USA Today that she plans to prove she is worth her musical salt on this tour. The pop star revealed that she "was in the marching band in school. I played saxophone and trumpet. Pretty nerdy." It may be nerdy, but it does give her some cred, I think.

    In her live shows, Ke$ha plans to play guitar, drums and synthesizer, and show off her singing skills, which, like any pop star, are treated heavily in the studio with computers, machines and technology. "I'm a singer and a writer first. I started to rap by accident, being playful," she told the paper.
