Kendra Foster is a singer-songwriter that has collaborated on tracks with a diverse range of artists, from Mark Ronson to Sunshine Anderson & PFunk Allstars.
However, it was her contributions to D'Angelo's highly praised album Black Messiah - an album on which she sang and co-wrote a number of tracks - that finally turned heads. That's just what happens when you win GRAMMY Awards for tracks like Best R&B Album and Best R&B Song ("Really Love")
Finally, on June 24th the artist releases her debut solo album.
Soaked in classic R&B grooves and built on a tradition of funk-based progressions Kendra Foster is a layered album, soulful, personal and social. Finally, the lady that has shared stages with the likes of George Clinton's Parliament Funkadelic, and Andra Day is stepping into the centre of the stage.
