Kenny Chesney 2016 Spread The Love tour #SpreadTheLoveTour

Stay with me on this one: If the Beatles were bigger than Jesus, and the Beatles are often compared to the Stones, then Kenny Chesney is bigger than Jesus, since he's packed stadiums the world over on par with both beloved rock acts. So, let the record state Chesney is bigger than Jesus.

"People always want to know about the stadiums," Chesney says. "It's a big show...a lot of music...and the kind of day people come together and celebrate friendship." With a knack for reducing free-flowing traffic to a standstill when he's in town, that's the understatement of the year. So, being the altruistic legend he is, in advance of the official 2016 tour announcement, Chesney has leaked a few select tour dates so fans (and municipalities) can plan accordingly.

"We know a lot of people travel to these dates from all over, so to give them as much time as possible to get ready, I figured it'd be nice to get these out in front of our other shows!" Chesney says.

Next year will see the launch of his Spread the Love tour, a stadium- (and similar venue-dominating) circuit that rolls into its first arena April 23, at Jordan Hare Stadium in Auburn, Alabama. With songs like "Pirate Flag" and "No Shirt No Shoes No Problem," it's easy to see why the Jimmy Buffett-lite country superstar has so much appeal to his fans, casually dubbed the No Shoes Nation.

Chesney will be supported by an aces country crew including Sam Hunt, Old Dominion, and Miranda Lambert, the "multi-platinum, 11-time CMA Award and two-time GRAMMY® winner [who] appeared at [Chesney's] last year's Soldier Field show" in Chicago.
