Kesha is suing producer Dr. Luke.
TMZ reports that Kesha's lawsuit makes the claims that she was sexually, physically, verbally and emotionally abused by Luke, born Lukasz Gottwald, for a decade.
She says that the uber-producer began abusing her at 18, when she signed on to work with him, and that he once forced her to snort something before they boarded a plane.
Kesha also says that Dr. Luke gave her what he called "sober pills." She says she woke up naked in his bed, sick and sore, with no clue how she ended up there. Yikes.
The singer, who went to rehab earlier this year to deal with an eating disorder, claims that Luke's abuse lead to her developing that problem, as well.
She is asking to be released from her contract.
Kesha's lawyer, Mark Geragos, told the gossip site, "This lawsuit is a wholehearted effort by Kesha to regain control of her music career and her personal freedom after suffering for 10 years as a victim of mental manipulation, emotional abuse and an instance of sexual assault at the hands of Dr. Luke."
He continued, "The facts presented in our lawsuit paint a picture of a man who is controlling and willing to commit horrible acts of abuse in an attempt to intimidate an impressionable, talented, young female artist into submission for his personal gain. Kesha is focused on moving her life and her career beyond this terrible time."
There are a lot of accusations here. There's also Dr. Luke's side of the story, as well. He says that it's all a ruse made up by Kesha and her mother Pebe, and is possibly counter-suing.
What do you think of Kesha's claims?
