Kevin Saunderson Completes Remix Collection

One of techno's true innovators, Kevin Saunderson, has compiled his popular History Elevate series as part of a two-CD remix collection under the same name. Disc one includes remixes from throughout Saunderson's career, from his early work to such recent sides as Hercules and Love Affair's "You Belong" and The Presets' "This Boy's In Love." As for disc two, it pairs Saunderson's aforementioned single series with new remixes by Simian Mobile Disco (Inner City's "Big Fun"), Ben Sims ("Rock to the Beat") and more.

"We believe this project ties the past to the future," Saunderson said in a press release, "Creating a launch pad for techno to spread our message far beyond... into deep space."

KMS Records and Fabric Recordings will unveil History Elevate on June 9. Here's what to expect:
