CartKid Cudi "Teleport 2 Me, Jamie" WZRD Review — 4.5 out of 5 stars

"Can anyone hear me?" Kid Cudi asks in the middle of his hypnotic new WZRD track, "Teleport 2 Me, Jamie".
We can hear you loud and clear, Cudi, and you sound as mind-blowing as always. Sparse finger-snaps and bright synths color this intergalactic love song with flourishes of down-tempo electro. However, once again, our favorite spaceman defies categorization as a subtle distorted guitar tempers the aural bliss with just a hint of unease.
Cudi's voice sounds entrancing as he carries the hook "Won't you teleport to me" to the farthest reaches of the galaxy and back. It's a lush soundscape that you'll want to fall into again and again. Following up the somewhat darker "Brake", "Teleport 2 Me, Jamie" is another genre-bending masterpiece from alternative music's most daring sonic sorcerer. We can't wait until WZRD drops on February 28, 2012.
As soon as you hear this WZRD, you'll be under his spell for good.
