New England's finest heavy metal heroes Killswitch Engage blast right back to form on "In Due Time".
It's the first single from their highly anticipated, Disarm The Descent, out April 2, and an initial taste of what's to come with rejoined original singer Jesse Leach. So what's the verdict?
Well, Killswitch Engage unleash their most vibrant, visceral, and vital work since Alive or Just Breathing with "In Due Time". In fact, this is the band at their most brutal and best. The inimitable fret fireworks of Adam Dutkiewicz and Joe Stroetzel seamlessly shift from mind-blowing riffing into scorching leads. They remain one of the most impressive guitar duos in history, and this is a testament to their technical talent and songwriting prowess. Mike D'Antonio and Justin Foley lock into an insurmountable groove as Leach takes the mic like he never went anywhere. "Something within us burns," he proclaims with unmatched passion as the band charges forward.
That burning is the flame of one of metal's greatest rising to their crowning moment to date. It's their time.
