Kimbra Releases "Settle Down"

Warner Bros. Records has released Settle Down, the debut US EP from 21-year-old international newcomer Kimbra.
The four-song EP includes Kimbra's Australian singles "Settle Down," a rhythmic collage of handclaps, cheeky horn parping and a ballooning bassline married to an escapist lyric about domesticity, and a remix of "Cameo Lover," which finds Kimbra exploring a soulful, Motown-influenced sound delivered in a fresh way with the help of Aussie hip-hop producer M-Phazes (Pharoahe Monch, Talib Kweli). Both tracks appear on the New Zealand-born singer and songwriter's album Vows (which was released in August in New Zealand and Australia, where it was certified gold) along with "Limbo," and a live cover of Nina Simone's "Plain Gold Ring."
Kimbra is currently hard at work on her debut album for Warner Bros. Records with such producers and songwriters as Mike Elizondo, Greg Wells, Greg Kurstin, and John Hill with an eye toward a Spring 2012 release. So this EP is a teaser to get you ready.
The track-listing for Settle Down is as follows:
"Plain Gold Ring" (Live at Sing Sing)
"Cameo Lover" (Sam Sparro & Golden Touche Remix)
