It was an intriguing week when it came to new album releases, with artists from all over the music map debuting new material. Swet Shop Boys, the project from Heems (formerly of Das Racist) and Riz MC (Actor Riz Ahmed) unveiled their debut album Cashmere. Two Door Cinema Club returned with their first album in four years, the radio guitar pop influenced Gameshow.

Meanwhile, Zeds Dead released Northern Lights featuring collaborations with Weezer's Rivers Cuomo, Pusha T, Diplo, Twin Shadow, Elliphant, Jadakiss, Styles P, and more. Conor Oberst even got in on the action with his seventh solo release, Ruminations. And that was only the beginning for a week filled with stunning new albums.

    Here are our favorites:

Kings of Leon - Walls - RCA

It's been three years since we last heard from Kings of Leon, but it might as well of been eight. Their new record, Walls, finds the band back to making the kind of music that shot them into stadiums and festival headlining gigs worldwide.

Jagwar Ma - Every Now & Then - Mom + Pop

It seems amazing that Every Now & Then is only the second full-length album from Jagwar Ma. Though the new record might bend more toward an electronic groove, it still plays to their psychedelic strengths, and only makes their future look brighter.

The Dillinger Escape Plan - Dissociation - Cooking Vinyl

Dissociation is the sixth and final full-length record from the New Jersey mathcore rockers known as The Dillinger Escape Plan. The album will remind listeners of just how great the band has been for the last many years.

Moby & the Pacific Void Choir - These Systems Are Failing - Mute

Moby has kept himself quite busy this year, releasing his memoir, and we caught up with him to discuss Porcelain. He also unveiled a new album this week, These Systems Are Failing, as Moby & the Void Pacific Choir, and it's equally as engaging.
