KISS Reveals Fan-Driven Tour

In an unprecedented move, KISS has announced plans for a North American tour decided entirely by fans.
"No matter where the fans say—from stadiums to cornfields," the band explained in a press release, "if there are enough votes, KISS will be there."
Votes will be tallied at such spots as KISS's MySpace page, http://www.myspace.com/kiss. The very act of voting also means you can purchase pre-sale tickets for the trek.
"No band has ever given their fans the power to decide what cities they play, and no fans deserve it more than ours," said vocalist/guitarist Paul Stanley. "We're leaving the next US and Canadian tour up to the Army. When they stand up, they will be counted."
In other KISS news, the legendary group continues to work on their first studio album in 11 years. According to a message from bassist/vocalist Gene Simmons on http://kissonline.com/, "We have four tunes recorded. If you're a fan of our stuff from about 1977, you'll feel right at home. All of us have taken up the songwriting call to arms in the same spirit we once did—without a care in the world and without outside writers. Nothing to prove to anyone. Just doing what comes naturally. Ignoring fashions, trends and with a personal vow from all of us: no rapping."
