    Kiss will release Nothin' to Lose, a book about their formation in 1973 through 1975 and the release of the concert film Alive!. It's a memoir and an in-depth look at the early years of Kiss and the creative boom of the 1970s. Bassist Gene Simmons and frontman Paul Stanley will author the book along with rock journalist Ken Sharp. Interviews with drummer Peter Criss and guitarist Ace Frehley will be included, as well as never-before-published photos.

    The book is due out in summer of 2012 via IT Books, a Harper-Collins imprint.
