Kraftwerk Announce United States, 3D Concert Tour

Kraftwerk have announced a nine-show, 3D concert tour set for the United States that will begin this September. Pitchfork reports, "The nine-show tour follows an appearance at Movement Detroit in May and a string of performances of their catalogue at Den Norske Opera in Oslo in August. (In October, they will also perform their catalogue at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain.)"
Kraftwerk's tour will take them throughout the United States beginning September 3rd in Bethesda, Maryland. From there, the band will travel across the country, making stops in Atlanta, Georgia, New Orleans, Louisiana, San Antonio, Texas, San Diego, California, and others. The tour will come to an end on September 18th with a concert at Los Angeles, California's Hollywood Bowl.
Since 1970, the German electronic music pioneers have released 10 studio album, the last being 2003's Tour de France Soundtracks. They have not announced if any new music is on the horizon. Kraftwerk played their first 3D concert in July of 2013 at T in the Park in Scotland. The band last played in the United States on October 9th, 2015 in Kansas City, Missouri.
