Kristin Scott Thomas to Play John Lennon's Aunt
Kristin Scott Thomas will play John Lennon's domineering Aunt Mimi in Nowhere Boy, the biopic based on the rock icon's life. It has been noted that Aunt Mimi played a major role in her young nephew's life. Ecosse Films will produce the film.Anne-Marie Duff has been cast as Lennon's mother Julia, while newbie Aaron Johnson, who had a role in The Illusionist, will play Lennon during his young, impressionable years. The biopic will focus on Lennon's nascent years and his rise to stardom.
