The film Kurt Cobain: About a Son will make its television on the Documentary Channel this Sunday, February 20th at 8 PM on what would have been the late Nirvana frontman's 44th birthday. Wow, KC would have been 44? He is still missed by modern music fans, that's for sure.
The film is comprised of audio interviews with Cobain conducted by Michael Azerrad for his book, Come As You Are: The Story of Nirvana. The doc was directed by AJ Schnack and it combines the audio of Cobain discussing his life with footage of the Northwestern region where the singer grew up.
In addition, the documentary will be made available in its entirety online in DOC's screening room (www.documentarychannel.com) and be available on DISH Network and DIRECTV video-on-demand simultaneously with the network's evening premiere. Documentary Channel is primarily available through satellite television services DISH Network (Channel 197) and DIRECTV (Channel 267).
