Aussie pop star Kylie Minogue auctioned off her black, Jean Paul Gaultier halter dress at an amFAR benefit on Friday night, reports The Associated Press. The dress nabbed $24,770. That does not include a dry-cleaning bill. Wink wink.
Another item up for grabs? A 1980 photograph by the late, subversive photographer, Robert Mapplethorpe, which is titled "Leather Crotch." The fete raised $180,000 for amFAR, which is the American Foundation for AIDS Research, a nonprofit that supports AIDS and HIV research.
