Lady Gaga Addresses Embracing the Art of Fame

While many celebrities cannot handle fame and fall apart amidst the pressure and the glare of the spotlight (Michael Jackson, Britney Spears, to name a few), Lady Gaga embraces hers with a huge, two-armed, never-ending bear hug. Her dealings with fame actually inspired a college to create a course about Gaga and her handling of her fame, which she talked about in a recent chat with AMP Radio in California.
Gaga told AMP Radio that she appreciates what the course "Lady Gaga and the Sociology of Fame,' which is taught at the University of South Carolina, is exploring, saying, "When you look back, movie stars sort of created their own sense of fame. Andy Warhol appropriated the fame of others in order to appropriate his own...Especially in today's media with social networking and cameras, everyone can take that same picture that the paparazzi used to take…It's not so much about doing it as it is about embracing the art of it. And I think that's what the course is about."
There is no one as self-aware as Lady Gaga, and that is why I love her.
What do you think of Lady Gaga's take on her fame?
