Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Mariah Carey in a Threesome
Thu, 18 Mar 2010 09:34:30
Beyonce makes a cameo on Lady Gaga's new smash, "Telephone," and the pairing allows the divas to tie fellow songstress Mariah Carey for the most Number Ones since the Nielsen-BDS radio chart launched all the way back in 1992. With "Telephone" ringing its way up the charts, Gaga, Beyonce and Mariah all have six No. 1 singles. Carey piled up six between 1993 and 2005.
With "Telephone," Gaga and Beyonce cruise past Avril Lavigne, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Pink, each of which have five chart toppers. Who will be the first to get to seven: Gaga or Beyonce? Will a catfight ensue? It looks like Gaga is fast-tracking, since she first hit these charts only a year-and-a-half ago, while Beyonce has been active since the early part of last decade. Each of Gaga's hits have gone Number One, as well, so our money's on her to reach seven first.
Go, go Gaga!
