Lady Gaga Continues Amazing Week With New Video - "John Wayne"

It's been a hell of a week for Lady Gaga — first she delivered a Super Bowl half time show, which was roundly applauded as being one of the most successful uses of the stage in recent years. Then she announced a monumental global tour for 2017. Now she's released a new video for "John Wayne", a track from her platinum-selling, Billboard number one album, Joanne.
Directed by Jonas Åkerlund, who previously worked with the singer for her "Telephone" and "Paparazzi" clips, "John Warne" takes Gaga to the rural backwoods of the South, where she plays out an action-packed story alongside pick-up trucks, cowboy hats and some redneck looking styles.
There's a return to the lavish production of 'old school' Gaga. Whereas "Million Reasons" was stripped down to a minimal visual treatment, this new video is an out-and-out assault on the senses. Flashes of color, sharp-as-blades choreography, and some high heels that should carry a health warning, especially when riding a motorcycle.
Currently still exclusive to Apple Music, the video is definitely worth waiting for, for audiences without the service, as Gaga and Åkerlund take the viewer into a world of violence and passion, exploring the machismo of the track — "Two lovers, headed for a dead end," is the only clue you need when asking "Where's all of this going?"
Lady Gaga is currently an ambassador for Tiffany & Co. Jewelry, and while she behaves herself as 'the elegant face' for that company she has certainly retained her need to kick the dust up in her other ventures.
