Lady Gaga Fans "Cook" Up Chewable Tribute

Up until now, our first images of a Cookie Monster were blue, hairy and full of crumbs. Well, not any longer. It's a new sort of Cookie (Fame) Monster, complete with stilettos and mile-high hair! According to the New York Daily News, two obsessed Gaga fans are paying tribute to the reigning queen of pop by baking sugar cookies in the shape of the singer and her visage.
The cookies look almost –almost- too good to eat, as they are shaped like the pop starlet wearing one of her signature, eccentric ensembles. 18-year-old Matt Mayer and 19-year-old Devonne Ditinick of Merritt Island, Florida, are hoping to hand-deliver their baked goods to Lady Gaga, whose summer tour is almost completely sold out. She even had to added two more dates to her Madison Square Garden stand, which is slated for July. Sadly, Mayer and Ditinick were unable to purchase ticket to any of the upcoming shows.
Is this a publicity stunt engineered by the fans to try and meet their mistress? Maybe Gaga will read about their plight and offer her backstage passes and a quick, cookie-filled meet and greet? We doubt it, but nice try, guys!
Do you think Lady Gaga's handlers should reach out to the Florida bakers/fans and grant them some access to present the cookies to their idol?
