Lady Gaga, Mark Ronson, and Tame Impala's Kevin Parker look like they are working together in the studio. Ronson posted photos on his Instagram yesterday, showing Gaga and Parker in the studio with him. BloodPop, formerly known as Blood Diamonds, also appeared in one of the photos.
There has been no word on who's upcoming album the collaboration might appear on. But speculation has been leaning towards Lady Gaga, who has already announced she'll be releasing an album later this year. It has already been announced that Gaga is working with Elton John on the record, which will be her first release since her collaboration with Tony Bennett, Cheek to Cheek, and will be her first set of original material since 2013's Artpop.
Mark Ronson and Kevin Parker collaborated on Ronson's 2015 album, Uptown Special. On the album, Parker recorded vocals for the songs "Summer Breaking" and "Daffodils." A music video that combined the two tracks was released earlier this year. Famed author Michael Chabon also worked on the lyrics for "Daffodils" with Parker. Ronson has not made any comments about a follow up to Uptown Special at the time. In April, Parker announced that he was working on new music, but didn't "know if it's for Tame Impala or if it's something I'm going to write for someone else," reported Consequence of Sound.
