Lady Gaga's "Meat Dress" in Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Museum

We wonder how they are "keeping" Lady Gaga's meat dress from rotting! The dress -- which Gaga wore to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in September -- is going on display at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum as part of the "Women Who Rock: Vision, Passion, Power" exhibit.
Um, she wore the dress nearly a year ago. How the hell is a garment constructed from raw animal parts not spoiling? That's what we want to know.
Franc Fernandez, who designed the dress with Nichola Formichetti, had originally said the dress would be turned into jerky, so that it wouldn't go to waste. Those plans have obviously changed and now the dress is on display.
We can't imagine that it smells very good.
The exhibit opened yesterday in Cleveland and will remain so through February.
What is your opinion on Lady Gaga's meat frock?
