Lady Gaga got hacked! That's right, a hackers group that also targeted Amy Winehouse and Justin Bieber broke into Gaga's United Kingdom website and stole fan data such as emails addresses! Ouch. That's not good.

To add insult to injury, the hack group, called Swag Security, posted an expletive-laced statement against the artist after the hack. Things were rectified on the quick, though, as the site appeared to be restored to normalcy on Saturday after the breach. Gaga called the authorities and the matter was handled. Gaga was reportedly incredibly upset by the hack. And we do not blame her. How malicious!

The Mirror reported that SwagSec struck the site as early as June 27th but did not make the information, which included names and email addresses, public until this week.

The paper also said that Gaga's label Universal said that the hackers "took a content database dump from www.ladygaga.co.uk and a section of email, first name and last name records were accessed. There were no passwords or financial information taken. We take this very seriously and have put in place additional measures to protect personally identifiable information. All those affected have been advised."

Does a hack such as this make you fearful of providing your information to online sites?
