Lady Gaga is taking a page out of Mohammad Ali's book! She certainly isn't one to blend in. In a display of what some will call confidence and what others will dub hubris, Gaga declared that her upcoming album Born This Waywill be the "greatest album of this decade." She made this grand declaration on Friday, November 26, during the Gdsank, Poland, stop of her "Monster Ball" tour.

"Not for nothing, the album's finished and it's fucking really good," Gaga said, her voice rife with emotion. "I promise to give you the greatest album of this decade, just for you."

Gaga added the album is "so much deeper than a wig or lipstick or an outfit, or a fucking meat dress..'Born This Way is about what keeps us up at night and what makes us afraid." She is such a cultural firecracker and she's got my undivided attention.

Gaga also hinted that the album, due in 2011, could have upwards of 20 tracks on it.

"I don't know what I would do without all of you," Gaga said. "I just promise that I'll never let you down." She should be saying, "Give me your sick, give me your tired, give me your poor," since Gaga opens her arms to all folks from all walks o' life as fans.

Are you excited for Born This Way? Are you one of the few who doesn't love Gaga? I say her statement that the album will be the "greatest" is a display of confidence, not hubris. Who wants to argue with me?
