Lady Gaga Says She Will Follow in Michael Jackson's Footsteps

Lady Gaga is following in Michael Jackson's footsteps in crafting the perfect pop star persona. In her interview with Rolling Stone, which hits stands Friday and boasts the pop star wearing a thong and holding a pair of strategically placed rifles, said, "If I were to ever, God forbid, get hurt onstage and my fans were screaming outside of the hospital, waiting for me to come out, I'd come out as Gaga. Michael got burned, and he lifted that glittered glove so damn high so his fans could see him, because he was in the art of show business. That's what we do."
In order to maintain the art of show business for herself, Gaga said she won't even take a sip of water while performing. "I don't even drink water onstage in front of anybody, because I want them to focus on the fantasy of the music," she added. So she'd rather end up dehydrated than interrupt the fantasy she is developing on stage! That's dedication to the craft of pop stardom. I'll give her that. But despite her cocksureness, Gaga is not much different than most girls her age, only she is in the glare of the spotlight, 25/8/366. She said, "When I wake up in the morning, I feel just like any other insecure 24-year-old girl. Then I say, 'Bitch, you're Lady GaGa, you get up and walk the walk today.'"
What do you say to yourself when you wake up? Are you running to the news stand to pick up the new ish of Rolling Stone so you can read more about what Gaga had to say?
