Latitude Festival Launches Limited Presale - Suffolk, please stand up

The third annual Latitude Festival has released 5,000 weekend passes for registered users at www.latitudefestival.co.uk . The limited "2008 tickets at 2007 prices!" promotion costs £112, which translates to about $231. Next year's fest will take place from July 17-20 at Henham Park in Southwold, Suffolk. The lineup is unknown as of yet, but organizers promise a heftier bill than last year's decent string of headliners (Arcade Fire, Damien Rice, Damon Albarn's The Good, The Bad and the Queen) and solid supporting acts (Wilco, The Hold Steady, Jarvis Cocker of Pulp).

Latitude began as an alternative to major rock festivals like Glastonbury and Reading in 2006. Aside from featuring several stages, it highlights acts from such fields as comedy, theatre, films, books, poetry and cabaret.
