The Associated Press reports that lawyers for Dr. Conrad Murray, the doc charged in the death of Michael Jackson, want to show jurors at the upcoming trial footage of a press conference in which the singer spoke of performing in only 10 shows.

A motion filed Tuesday says the recording of Jackson as he announced his This Is It concerts would show his mental and physical condition in March 2009. Man, Murray's lawyers really are grasping at straws.

The motion says the footage supports the anticipated testimony of Jackson's makeup artist Karen Faye that the pop star was furious when he learned he would have to do 50 shows. There is the suggestion and intimation that the Jackson was overworked and that's why he died.

Yeah, so, lawyers for the not-so-good doc are suggesting that Jackson was not physically able to take on such a commitment and that's what killed him.

The jury selection for Murray's involuntary manslaughter trial begins Friday. Murray is accused of negligence in Jackson's death from an overdose of the anesthetic propofol.

Do you think Conrad Murray will eventually be convicted?
