The lawyer for Doctor Conrad Murray, the attending physician suspecting of delivering the fatal dose of a surgical anesthetic that ended up killing Michael Jackson a year ago today, said his client did not deliver the dose. The legal eagle, Ed Chernoff, spoke to CNN and said that his client, who has been charged with involuntary manslaughter in the case, was not the dose giver and that someone else could have done the deed which resulted in Jackson’s premature death. Really? The lawyer did not offer up any other possible suspects with access to the drug or the late King of Pop. I wonder if he will stoop low enough to say that Jackson self-administered the dose.
"There is no way that Dr. Murray pumped Michael Jackson full of propofol sufficient for major surgery," Chernoff said. The attorney was reacting to an autopsy report that said the level of the anesthetic found in Jackson was equal to what would be used to sedate a patient for major surgery. "No way. I would stake anything that I own on this fact."
In other Jackson/Murray news, TMZ is reporting that Joe Jackson is preparing to file a wrongful death suit against the not-so-good doc.
What do you think? Is this just spin?
