Kelley Lynch, the former business manager and brief girlfriend of singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen, has been convicted of harassing him. She violated restraining orders and hit him with mega long emails and messages. According to the BBC, Lynch is starting down five years in the clink for her crimes against the 77-year-old.
They have a long and complicated back story, these two.
Cohen sued Lynch in 2005 for allegedly stealing millions of dollars from him. She was ordered to pay him a whopping $9.5 million. She threatened Cohen and his family repeatedly.
"I was not willing to take the risk, the risk that someone who leaves me messages that are deranged and violent is not going to turn up outside my house," he told the court.
What do you think is the proper punishment for Lynch?
