Leonard Cohen vs. Former Business Manager Kelly Lynch
Tue, 10 Apr 2012 09:33:47
Singer/songwriter Leonard Cohen is going mano y mano with former business manager (and onetime brief lover) Kelley Lynch. According to The Los Angeles Times, Lynch is on trial for harassment and is up against claims that she made disturbing calls to Cohen, violated restraining orders and sent the musician and his attorney thousands of emails that were often 50 pages long. Yikes. Who has that kinda time?
Lynch was fired in 2004 and that's when the floodgates of this behavior seemingly opened.
Lynch called Cohen "a sick man" and said that he "needed to be taken down and shot." Voicemails were often 10 minutes in length, while emails often numbered 50 pages long.
Cohen says that this situation has caused him to watch his step and be concerned for his family, so her actions and behaviors have caused him to alter his own.
Lynch, of course, has plead not guilty.
Cohen also sued Lynch in 2005, accusing her of stealing millions of dollars from him. Lynch was ordered to pay Cohen $9.5 million.
What a drama!
Team Cohen or Team Lynch?
