What?! Lil Jon isn't already in the Guinness Book of World Records for—who knows—world's most muppet-like rapper, maybe? Anyway, we're happy to report that Lil Jon's egregious omission from the famous record book is finally about to be corrected, thanks to a 73-karat piece of bling that has been officially declared the world's largest.
The bling in question is a diamond-studded pendant bearing the words, "Crunk Ain't Dead," a message that Lil Jon conveys in 5 pounds of yellow and white gold encrusted with 3,756 white diamonds. The piece, which is 7.5 inches tall, 6 inches wide, and 1 inch thick, came from celebrity jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills, and reportedly cost around $500,000.
In other Lil Jon news, the shaggy rapper/producer is in talks with Comedy Central to create a cartoon about himself called A-Town. "It's a hilarious cartoon, I think everybody's gonna love it," Lil Jon told BallerStatus.com. Oh yeah, and he's still eventually releasing an album called Crunk Rock, which has been delayed for the better part of a year—presumably until it could be confirmed that crunk was, in fact, not dead.
