Limp Bizkit "Ready To Go" Featuring Lil Wayne Song Review — 5 out of 5 stars

Since the "rock shit doesn't rock anymore", Limp Bizkit have returned locked and loaded with a ballsy, bruising banger.
"Ready To Go" feels like a band reawakened in many ways. At the same time, it's the Bizkit the world knows and loves from Significant Other and Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water. A rumbling Wes Borland riff catapults the immortal rhythmic shake from bassist Sam Rivers and drummer John Otto forward. Fred Durst lets loose about Britney Spears "dropping to her knees" and even name checks Lady Gaga. However, "Freddy D" is the rock god he always was just smarter, slicker, and sharper than ever on the first release from Stamped of the Disco Elephants [Cash Money Records/ Republic Records].
This is some of Durst's best rhyming yet, while the music is the ultimate groove metal bitch slap. Mid-song, Lil Wayne unleashes a warbling, wild, and wonderful verse that ends with a nod of Durst's signature red Yankees cap. The track brings together two titans in one cataclysmically catchy clash.
The age of YMCMBLB is underway, and it's Bizkit's brightest. Are you ready to go?
